Because "Aurea" mean golden in Latin, and "Chryse" means the same in Greek, some conjecture that this might have been the grave of the Saint herself.
Inscriptions from Christian catacombs and graveyards of the first centuries of the Christian Era. Many of them are heartbreaking, and show a simplicity and faith deserving of more recognition.
